THE JOHNSON FORCE ASSESSMENT (JFA)
FOR PHYSICAL ABUSERS & SEXUAL
OFFENDERS & VICTIMS

Scott A. Johnson, MA, Licensed Psychologist

The JFA assessment tool was designed to be
utilized in the assessment and treatment of
physical abusers, sex offenders, and victims. The
purpose is to provide a comprehensive
identification of the types of force that physical
abusers and sex offenders used in the commission
of their offenses. For victims, the JFA has proven
very useful in helping them identify a more
complete picture of the abuse that occurred.

Relationship Violence/Domestic Abuse Treatment Program

Mr. Johnson  developed a program to address domestic abuse and
relationship violence based on the Duluth Model and the
cognitive-behavioral model.  Mr. Johnson believes that  men are
often socialized to believe that they have the right to own, control, and
dominate women. However, society also encourages men
and
women to use force, manipulation, and violence in response to
frustration, anger, or when a person believes that they are provoked.
There is a strong correlation between domestic/partner abuse, child
abuse, and pet abuse. In fact, studies have demonstrated that
approximately 70% of batterers also are abusing their partners and
pets.  Purchasing this program outline, handouts, and forms allows
for unlimited copies to be made. Please click on the title to order the
program.
